Ego on wheels

Hi, good to hear from you my darling...I'm happy for you.  The gardening sounds like you are taking after your OMA, me.  While I didn't do much every green plant or tree I planted grew into a monster....It is such good exercise but very frustrating to me.  The one beautiful pink blossomed bush I planted near the garage and had high hopes for to look marvelous did well and then February came and destroyed it with frost.  I was so discouraged I said this is not worth the work...I like my planter in the front since I can mix the fresh flowers from a store like Farm Fresh with some artificial greens and it is little work and looks pretty nice ALL YEAR ROUND.

Your dad just told me about the Oma Bike.  I said, "You mean instead of a Schwinn it's called Oma? Is it made in Germany?"  He thought so, didn't know.  So I egotistically said, "How marvelous that I make such an impression on people that a company in another country would want to name a bike AFTER ME."  He said, "Yes, I thought you would say that."  Ha.  Sorry, it's the ego thing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!   Gotta keep it in the family.  

Always thinking ahead

Nice hearing from you again.  It's very hot here. 

Your dad and I had coffee at Starbucks this morning.  I brought my own snack.

Do you wear slacks at work?

You sound pretty chipper for now and I'm sure soon you will sound chipperer.  Ha.  That is, as soon as someone discovers you.  Make sure your hair is blonde and cut stylish like it used to be.  Get a barber to cut it cheaply and then color it with one of the store products like you used to.....once your gorgeous hair looks sharp you can work on the rest of your wardrobe....Do you wear slacks at work?  Hope you don't need hose...and a skirt.  Cost too much.

What you could do later is get yourself a catalog (Penney's, Macy's, etc.) and send me some photos of the kind of things you like then if I can find them cheaper here I can send something.  Tear out the pages and send them to me.  It's just an idea....Well will close now.
